In 2018, KN STUDIOS launched Taka Universe, a brand focused on children's merchandise. Our first public activation at Free State Fashion Week received a positive response. Incorporating merchandise is one of the five value chain income streams we are activating to sustain the brand and grow our customer base.
Our merchandise strategy involves collaborating with existing boutiques and expanding to mainstream retail outlets across South Africa and the rest of the global community. This brand's mission is to promote KN STUDIOS's original content, generate a loyal client base, and connect with our global interests in supporting African content. However, after the 2019 Pandemic, we had to readjust our strategy and pause our merchandise efforts. We plan to rekindle this value chain in 2026 and re-enter the market with several new concepts.
